A New Look!
Decided to try and update the look a bit on this blog. I was getting a little bored with the look I used to have and decided to give this one a try.
I’m not 100% sold on this one. I like that not all of each article is actually shown on the front page. That was one thing that was really bugging me about the previous format I was using. I couldn’t really see how many people were visiting each article as everyone was just going to the front page and reading the latest post. Hopefully this will allow me to see what each actual article draws.
I do like the 3 column approach like I had in my first theme, so I have kept it here. I like having the items on the side bars but not making the side bars too long. With 3 columns I get the best of both worlds: lots of widgets on the sides and not much length on the front page.
However I did lose my “gravatar” but I got to add a nice pic at the top of the page. Now I have to figure out how to reduce the pic in size as it seems a little big to me.
I can also change the header (the part that has the title of the blog on it), but I do not know what to change it to quite yet. If you have any ideas, please feel free to drop me a note! Suggestions are certainly welcome.
I think I will give this one a chance for a bit and see if it entices to me actually write more than I have so far.
